그로테스크와 신세계

나는 자꾸만 현 정부의 성격을 그로테스크하다고만 표현한다. 특별히 좋다 나쁘다라는 감정은 없다. 그냥 혼란스럽다. 아무리 분석을 해봐도 현대 세계에 존재하는 세계관으로는 설명할 길이 없는 면이 있다.

 

검찰의 내 집단성이나 종교의 내 집단성은 사회학적 관점을 가지고 설명이 가능하다. 하지만 문제가 되는 국정운영과 그로테스크한 인물들의 해석할 수 없는 행태는 과학과 철학이 발전하기 이전의 전근대적인 모습을 보인다. 일 인당 국민소득 3만 불인 현대국가에서 국민 모두를 혼란스럽게 하는 비정형성을 가지고 있다.

 

조금 더 심하면 피안의 세계를 향해서 모두 기도하고 독극물을 마시고 자결하자는 교주의 계시가 나올 것 같은 기분이다.

 

국민 교육의 개선이 심각하다는 생각도 든다. 열심히 공부(만)해서 사법과 행정 두 분야의 지식을 익힌 인물들이 국가를 얼마나 혼란스럽게 할 수 있는지 경험했다. 과거에 정치철학도 없고 공리성도 없는 대통령이 종교와 합체해서 국가를 혼란스럽게 할 때만 해도 위기감이 좀 덜 했다. 그 당시 정보기관 문제와 겹쳐서 나는 그런 인물들의 간사스러움을 병적으로 싫어했지만 문제점을 볼 수가 있었던 것이 한 편으로는 위안이 되었다.

 

국민 전체와 국가 전체의 관점으로 볼 때 진보와 보수는 각 장단점이 있고, 함께 존재하여야 하며 지나치게 편향적인 관점은 가지지 않는 것이 좋다고 생각한다. 그래야 국가 목표에 순수하게 접근할 수 있다고 생각한다. 그러나 이제부터 보수 쪽에서는 인물 검증을 신경 써야 할 것 같다. 그렇지 않으면 계단 형태의 괴멸적인 결과를 맞이할 가능성이 있다.

자주 언급했지만 나는 한국 국민의 관점으로 박정희 대통령과 노무현 대통령을 무척 존경했다. 가장 성실하고 사명감이 있으며 진정으로 나 같은 최하층민들의 편에 서 있을 수 있던 지도자라고 생각했다. 그리고 경제적, 정치적인 근대화에 힘쓴 지도자다. 내가 대통령을 보는 관점은 이 두 분이 척도다.

 

중세시대에 서구 유럽에서는 종교적인 세계관이 강해서 추상적인 세계관이 강했고, 더불어 인과율적인 세계관이 없었다. 말하자면 현실의 세계와 피안의 세계가 분리되어 현실의 문제점을 그다지 생각하지도 않았고, 책임을 질려고도 하지 않았다. 그러다 보니 세계 자체가 부패와 사기의 세계였다. 예를 들면 죄악을 저질러도 기도하고 회개하여 죄의 사함을 받으면 노력하지 않아도 편하게 살 수 있었던 시대가 중세 시대이다.

 

그러나 뉴튼의 시대부터는 세계는 절대적이고 원인과 결과가 뚜렷해졌다. 신이 개입하면 오히려 혼란스러운 시대가 온 것이다. 그리고 세상은 밝아졌다. 곧 이어 영국과 프랑스의 계몽주의가 시작되었다.

In addition, I remembered a bad memory about the bar exam. They passed the professional exam, but I remember the prosecution politics, which became the epitome of rejection because they misused it. I was rejected and ended my life, and some passed and ruined the country. Compared to that, I still think I lived a good life.

 

A gangster has been lampooned in cartoons to mock the world and himself by engraving a tattoo of a wrong pledge to live a good life on his forearm. This is the image of elite politicians who laugh at the people. On the other hand, a farmer beat the chicken's neck and removed all its fur to eat it in winter, but it revived and ran away into the forest. The farmer, who lost the chicken by a long shot, sighed and said, "It's only cold for him to run away." This is just me.

 

Sometimes figures who want to become political leaders tell us the problems of elite politics because they do not know the prices of ordinary people, including bus fares. Still, some older people, who have not yet been democratized, consider politicians to be "the upper people," which is the basis for elite politics to still exist.

 

Nowadays, in Korea, a group sexual assault incident in 1991 in a provincial city called Miryang is a problem again. At that time, the perpetrators were weak in punishment, and the residents also showed an ethically broken society, criticizing the victims. Now, more than 20 years later, Korean netizens are showing the appearance of a new democratic era by informing the personal information and traces of the perpetrators through YouTube and sending warning messages to the city of Miryang.

 

On the other hand, if Russian President Putin had a little more understanding of the psychology of Russian and Ukrainian citizens, or if the Russian intelligence agency FSB had carried out more comprehensive and intelligent espionage activities, there would have been no war in Ukraine. And I feel sorry that many Ukrainian residents and young Russians could have been saved. The judgment of the elite, who are isolated from the citizens' thoughts, raises many problems.

President Putin had the illusion of liberating Ukraine from Nazi. An anti-tank missile flew in instead of a bouquet of flowers that the Russian invaders expected as soon as Russian troops entered Ukraine. The Ukrainians regarded the Russian invaders as real Nazi.

엘리트 정치의 종말과 우크라이나 침공

틈틈이 공학 관련 공부를 하다가 작년에 학원에서 리눅스 운영체제와 클라우드 시스템을 배웠다. 그때 학원강사분이 IT분야는 습득하는 도중에 새로운 것이 개발되어 달리는 말에 쉴새없는 채찍이 가해진다고 한다. 물론 전문적으로 배우면 연봉도 높다. 나는 적성에 맞는 것 같으나 동료들에 비해 나이가 너무 먹어 버렸다. 더불어 아련하게 사법고시에 대한 안 좋은 추억이 떠올랐다. 전문직 시험을 합격했는데, 잘못 사용해서 퇴락의 대명사가 되어 버린 검찰 정치가 생각난다. 불합격해서 인생을 말아먹은 나 자신과 합격해서 나라를 말아먹는 사람들과 비교해 보면 그래도 내가 차카게 살았다고 생각한다.

 

어떤 조폭이 팔뚝에 ‘차카게 살자’라는 한글 맞춤법이 틀린 맹세의 문신을 새겨서 세상과 자신을 조롱하는 모습이 만화에서 많이 풍자되고 있다. 이것은 국민을 비웃는 엘리트 정치인들의 모습이다. 한편으로는 어떤 농부가 겨울에 닭을 잡아먹으려고 목을 꺾고 털을 다 뽑았는데, 닭이 다시 살아나 숲속으로 도망을 갔다. 아깝게 닭을 잃어버린 농부는 한숨을 쉬며 말했다. “지 놈이 도망가봤자 지 놈만 춥지.” 이건 방금 내 모습이다.

 

가끔 정치지도자가 되어 보겠다고 하는 인물들이 버스비를 비롯하여 서민들의 물가를 전혀 모르는 일들이 있어서 엘리트 정치의 문제점을 알려주기도 한다. 그래도 아직 민주화가 안된 일부 고령층에서는 정치인을 ‘상전’이라고 생각하는 사람들이 있어서 엘리트 정치가 아직 존재할 수 있는 기반이 된다.

 

요즘에 한국에서는 1991년에 밀양이란 지방 도시에서 있었던 집단 성폭행 사건이 다시 문제시 되고 있다. 그 당시 가해자들은 처벌이 약했고, 주민들도 피해자를 비난하는 윤리적으로 파탄이 난 사회의 모습을 보여주었다. 20여년이 지난 지금 한국의 네티즌들은 그 당시 가해자들의 인적 사항과 자취를 유투브등을 통하여 알리고 밀양이란 도시에 경고메시지를 보내는 등 새로운 민주화 시대의 모습을 보여주고 있다.

 

한 편으로는 러시아의 푸틴 대통령이 조금 더 러시아와 우크라이나 시민들의 심리를 이해했거나 러시아 정보기관인 FSB가 더욱 종합적이고 인텔리젼트한 첩보활동을 이행했으면 지금의 우크라이나 전쟁도 없었을 것이다. 그리고 많은 우크라이나 주민들과 러시아 젊은이들을 살릴 수 있었다는 안타까운 생각이 든다. 시민들의 생각과 격리된 엘리트들의 판단은 많은 문제를 일으킨다.

Russia and the New Cold War

Russia's President Putin visited North Korean leader Kim Jong-un today.

It can be interpreted as the establishment of a new cold war era. Unfortunately, it can be said that the Korean Peninsula has become a dependent variable of the Cold War. It is funny to say this as a Korean, but it is also a moment when I am looking forward to Chairman Kim Jong-un's bargaining power. I hope that President Putin's visit will benefit North Koreans as well.

Originally, Putin is friendly to the Korean Peninsula from a long-term perspective. Or perhaps it was because of the 'habit of the Cold War', which is still the most worrisome weakness of humanity. Even now. That is the case. The habit of the Cold War has come to life like a ghost. Leaders of each country may think they are smart, but when they look back on themselves, they have not deviated from those thoughts. Russia's Putin government, China's Xi Jinping government, the Biden government of the United States, Japan's Kishida government, South Korea's conservative government, and North Korea's government are all ideological governments. They are very determined to wage a grand war, even for a minor reason.

 

- At this juncture, I hope world leaders will either become a little more discouraged and become passive, or hand over power to young politicians. I'm scared to death. I suffered a lot from the trauma my parents experienced during the Korean War. What did I do wrong?

 

On the one hand, South Korea and North Korea should again become independent variables rather than dependent variables of ideology. So, South Korea and North Korea should not bleed into ideological fights that originated from powerful countries like they did 70 years ago. Seoul and Pyongyang must awaken. We must not repeat silly international relations.

 

Regardless of whether it originated from an independent defense strategy or whether it was a proxy war in the New Cold War, it is true that the Ukrainian people suffered a great tragedy. The same is true of Russia. Worse yet, Russia is likely to continue its supply offensive against Ukraine, as it did in World War II, with its large territory and abundant underground resources. The Putin administration will believe that the domestic economy, which has shrunk due to export bans, can be offset by increased domestic demand through war. And there is no doubt that, in time, a practical global community will be exonerated of war crimes. A ceasefire must be reached quickly between Russia and Ukraine.

 

 

멀고도 가까운 러시아와 신냉전

오늘 러시아의 푸틴 대통령이 북한의 김정은 위원장을 방문했다. 

해석하기에는 신냉전 시대의 확립이라고 볼 수 있겠다. 그리고 안타깝게도 한반도가 냉전의 종속변수로 확고해진 사건이라고도 할 수 있겠다. 한국인으로서 이런 말 하면 우습지만 김정은 위원장의 협상력이 기대되는 순간이기도 하다. 나는 이번 푸틴 대통령의 방문이 북한 주민들에게도 이익이 되길 희망 한다.

원래 푸틴 대통령은 장기적인 관점으로 한반도에 친화적이다. 서쪽으로 진출하려는 의도가 우크라이나의 강한 저항을 받아 무산된 지금은 동쪽으로의 진출을 기대하고 있을 것이다. 혹자는 러시아가 전쟁을 일으켜서 세계에서 고립된 환경 속에서 확산을 기대하는 것은 사치일 수도 있다고 생각할 것이다. 그러나 시간은 많은 변화를 정당화 시켜준다. 러시아는 내구력이 있는 나라다. 자원과 영토가 풍성해서 기본기가 있다. 정보기관장 출신인 푸틴 대통령은 러시아가 견딜 수 있는 한계는 아직 멀었다고 생각하는 듯하다.

 

한편으로는 과거 소련이 붕괴되었을 당시에 서방측이 빠르게 러시아를 자유진영의 일원으로 편입시키는 프로젝트를 실행하지 못한 것은 큰 실책이다. 아마도 핵무장을 한 러시아가 너무 큰 상대로 보이는 착시현상이 있었는지도 모르겠다. 아니면 지금도 가장 우려되는 인류의 약점인 ‘냉전의 습관’ 때문이었을 것이다. 지금도 그렇다. 냉전의 습관이 망령처럼 살아난 것이다. 각국의 지도자들은 자신들이 영리하다고 생각하겠지만 가만히 자신을 돌아보면 그 때 그 생각들을 벗어나지 못한 것이다. 러시아의 푸틴 정부, 중국의 시진핑 정부, 미국의 바이든 정부, 일본의 기시다 정부, 한국의 보수 정부, 북한 정부가 모두 이념 정부인 것이다. 미약한 이유라도 있으면 장대한 전쟁을 치룰 각오가 대단하다.

 

-이 즈음에서 나는 세계의 지도자들이 좀 더 기력이 떨어져서 소극적인 성격으로 변하든지 아니면 젊은 정치인들에게 정권을 이양하기를 희망한다. 무서워 죽겠다. 나는 우리 부모가 한국 전쟁 때 겪은 트라우마 때문에 무척 고생했다. 나는 무슨 잘못을 했나?

 

한 편으로는 한국과 북한이 다시 이념의 독립변수가 아닌 종속변수가 되어 70년 전처럼 주위에서 붙여준 싸움에 피를 흘려 서는 안된다. 한국 정부나 북한 정부는 각성해야 한다. 어리석은 국제관계를 반복해서는 안 된다.

 

자주적인 방위전략에서 비롯되었든 신냉전의 대리전을 치룬 형국인지는 물을 이유도 없이 우크라이나 국민들은 큰 비극을 당한 것은 사실이다. 러시아도 마찬가지다. 더 나쁜 것은 러시아는 이차 세계 대전때 처럼 넓은 영토와 풍부한 지하자원으로 지속적인 물량 공세를 할 우려가 있다. 푸틴 정부는 수출금지로 위축된 국내 경기를, 전쟁을 통한 내수 증진으로 상쇄할 수 있다고 생각할 것이다. 그리고 시간이 지나면 실리적인 지구촌이 전쟁범죄에 면죄부를 줄 것을 의심치 않을 것이다. 러시아와 우크라이나는 빨리 휴전해야 한다.
