Absolute Northeast Asia

In general. if a nation or idea is geographically isolated or lacks interaction with the outside world, it has an absolute atmosphere. On the other hand, ideas in areas where trade and scientific exploration were active have a relativistic atmosphere. Absolutism has a hard and stubborn conservative atmosphere. Relativism has an ever-changing tendency toward progressivism based on human-centered usefulness and rationality.

Eastern thought is largely an absolutist idea. Among Western ideas, Bacon’s empiricism, pragmatism and James Mill and Dewey’s utilitarian ideas tend to be relativistic. On the other, Germany’s Kant thought tends to be absolute. If we expend further, that is why Japan’s ultra-rightist ideology is due to its geographical isolation and North Korea’s long-standing adherence to Marxism. Because of its political isolation, China’s economic relativity eventually failed to overcome the absolutelity of politics.

Recently, Northeast Asia has been plagued by the closed politics of Japan and China. South Korea has become an independent variable from neighboring powers, but North Korea appears to have many barriers to cross. Japan has become more cohesive and far-right to overcome the crisis, but it seems to be misdirected. Japan should be more benign, work toward globalization and strengthen its connection with other countries. Chine has a special economic zone like Hong Kong or an entrepreneur like Marwin. But they are oppressed by political absoluteity.

Even in Korea, conservative religions and politicians refuse to change on absolute grounds such as religion and ideology. Given the current situation in Japan, it is clear that it is not a good thing.
