Irrational world politics and Napoleon

Compared to young people, older people do a lot of irrational behavior. Working with the elderly shows that many of them are in the illusion of being the boss. When the same kind of people who are aiming for the boss gather, they always fight. Until there is a bad ending, the intellectual abilities of the elders are busy forming a conflict rather than rationality. I was able to insight into the common behavior of these elders in both intellectual and simple workplaces.

The irrational trend of the elderly is increasing not only in the workplace where I work, but also in national management and international relations. The same is true of Korean politics, the politics of China and Russia, and the West, although temporary due to the influence of democratic political systems. It is natural for the elders who grew up in the Cold War to lead the world to the Cold War. This is because the worldview they learned when they were young has been fixed for a long time and forms the current order.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, who deeply studied Mao Zedong's ideas during the Cold War, made China a country competing for hegemony with the United States. The United States, which has contributed a lot to China's scientific and technological development with its globalization ideology, experienced the reality that the globalization ideology became a boomerang and had bad results for the United States. The U.S. has also offered an inevitable protectionist card. Politics in the United States is much easier to come up with such a decision. This is because most of the members of the Biden administration spent their youth during the Cold War. Moreover, Russian President Putin has made irrational decisions these days, sending the world into a state of war.

Napoleon was also a pioneer of modern technocrat managers. He studied many science subjects, especially mathematics. He always had scientists and engineers around him and looked ahead in the same way as scientists. He ended up in trouble because he lost his precise calculation power and did something reckless like the Russian invasion.

Nowadays, the politics of young people with a reasonable world view is needed rather than ideology or religion. These days, even if not necessarily young people, the world needs talented people who can think reasonably.

- [Joy of Psychology] by Chris Ravan and Jeudie Willims -

Ethical Intelligence and Conservative Politics

When aging comes to the body and mind, the view of the world can be blackened (negative and darkened). Those who perceive it themselves try to grow old brightly through exercise, reading, and labor. In particular, altruistic or utilitarian ideas can give you an opportunity to organize yourself.

I've met many generations of people for a long time. The younger people are, the better. Young people are always busy because they have a lot to do in the future without seeing the world due to profit and loss. But when people are older than middle-aged, they feel betrayed by themselves and the world. They are angry at themselves for having achieved nothing, and the world and the years that have made them so.

Most violent criminals in the news are middle-aged and elderly. It is also middle-aged and elderly people who act rude to bus drivers on the bus. It is also true that middle-aged and elderly people are strongly engaged in political battles in the political arena. In societies with vertical relationships such as Japan and Korea, middle-aged and elderly people always try to "take an authoritarian attitude with age." The result is conservative politics.

China and Russia have middle-aged and elderly leaders in power for a long time. It is inevitable that the policy direction is very conservative and national. They have more ideas about power and vertical relations than about a peaceful future. It is inevitable that there is a tight heart that cannot be conceded in domestic political relations and cannot be conceded in relations between countries. Moreover, if the middle-aged people support political power, a world of overall blackness will open. That's why we need a young politician.

Now, let's briefly summarize, when we talk about politics at work, we tend to violate the first principle of ethical intelligence and the third principle of "respecting others." Such conversations should be made at the right time and place outside of the workplace. It's not easy to suppress the temptation to talk political at work, but ethically smart people don't fall for it.

- [ Ethical Intelligence ] by Bruce Weinstein -

I resist the temptation to say that the world today will be ruined by middle-aged people and conservative politics. I am also a middle-aged person, so it is logically reasonable for me to reflect on what I am saying.

(When a superior commands, his subordinates obey)의 수직적인 관계의 전통이 있는 사회에서는 중장년층이 반드시 ‘나이 값’을 할려고 노력한다.

- [ Ethical Intelligence ] by Bruce Weinstein -

Aging Population and Reform Politics

I saw a lot of middle-aged people with high educational backgrounds imitating former President Park Chung-hee in my workplace where I worked for quite a long time in my youth. Middle-aged people were not copying the leader who passionately led the nation's growth, but imitating the terminal symptoms shown by the aging president, such as authoritarianism and problems with women. Over the years, I observed carefully while driving a bus, but the appearance of middle-aged people was not new. Perhaps it is thought to be the despair of an unbearable existence brought by physical and mental changes.

Economist Paul Krugman says in his book "THE RETURN OF BEPRESSION ECONOMICS" that no matter how much Japan implements economic stimulus through public programs, it has not stimulated the Japanese economy. He says the biggest problem is demographic reality. The aging phenomenon is very severe in Japan. Of course, Korea or Russia will be more serious than Japan.

In North Korea, South Korea, and even countries such as France and Ukraine, the leadership role of the new generation of politicians expressed a lot of expectations that the country's future will be quite good. On the one hand, however, the new generation of politics has the burden of breaking through the gateway to conservative past generations of people and old generations of politics supported by them.

It is inevitable that middle-aged people and older cannot have a reformative tendency. Humans have characteristics that are easily bound to past memories and habits, and the problems caused by biological aging are tasks that individuals and society must solve together. It will be necessary to understand life as a more continuous process and to have an utilitarian perspective of thinking about the future and future generations.

This problem is also the biggest problem in Korea these days. Problems related to Korea's rapid aging of the population, conservative regimes, the advancement of conservative inner groups such as prosecutors, and harmony with conservative foreign governments are much dimming the country's future prospects. The world without reform is a dark world. Such a tendency has path dependence and progresses more rapidly.

In fact, the issue of unification and cooperation between the two Koreas is an important issue for future generations on the Korean Peninsula and around the world. We cannot let future generations live atrophy under the threat of war. However, Russia and Ukraine are also showing the same dark future as the Korean Peninsula.

Korea needs to change its people and government into a reformed and public-interest attitude. In addition, since Korea has a good transportation infrastructure, it is necessary to create a space for growth of industry and population by focusing on balanced development of local areas. First of all, reform and fresh reform and growth energy should be created in the political world.

New Cold War and Disturbance of Circulation

Franch thining on economics changed. Maybe wealth wasn’t a stockpile of silver like Colbert thought. Maybe wealth circulates though a body. Laws, regulations, tariffs, subsides, and so on would get in the way of that netural circulation.

- [HOW OUR ECONOMY WORKS] by MICHAEL GOODWIN -

French agricultural economist Franisois Quesnay (4 June 1694 – 16 December 1774) took the first step in liberal economic thought, complementing the protectionism of commercial economist Colbert. Although mercantilism and protectionism are acknowledged to be quite effective for the French economy, the poverty problem in France has not been solved by Louis XIV, who started the war. This point has much to suggest in that the current trend of pursuing protectionism is also pursuing war. War is just destruction and regression.

The modern economy has been developing by complementing and complementing, but as we enter the 21st century, there is a movement to regress in the form of a cold war in which the ideological cold war has been transformed. This movement is based on generational egoism, rigid dictatorship, and hegemonism. In order to solve the problem, it is urgent to find out what makes the economic cycle rigid.

North Korea's economy is not large. However, even if North Korea pursues a self-reliant economy, there is room for expansion if it tries to circulate internally. As mentioned before, North Korea will follow the Singapore model.

Like the late Qing Dynasty, the Chinese economy pursues 地大物博 (land is wide and goods are diverse). Under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, who deeply retains Mao Zedong's communist ideas, communist politics and capitalist economy are showing a separate behavior. This behavior will interfere with the global economic cycle in the long term and wide area.

Japan also has a capitalist economic structure, but the cycle has faced limitations as it failed to globalize and the color of protection trade strengthened. Now, it has become a system dominated by rigid thinking of the old generation rather than open thinking of the new generation, and it has become a phase of non-circulation.

One day, while reading Russian President Putin's autobiography, I thought that President Putin may be included in the viewpoints of the war (World War 2) as much as the middle-aged and older generations in Korea, where war trauma was succeeded through the parents' generation. Perhaps that is not just a matter for Putin. All the middle-aged and older generations of Russia will also be incorporated into the perspective of the time of war by combining the bad and glorious memories of that time. Russia has too many factors to cooperate with non-circulation. The problem of geographical isolation is a problem to be solved in the future.

Korean politics has focused on circulation through globalization and trade, but sometimes, under the pretext of conservative politics, non-cyclical political attitudes have emerged and are resisted and withdrawn.

There is still a movement to seek a solution to the problem through ideological bisection between capitalism and socialism, but it should be considered from a different perspective. American-style capitalism is not necessarily right, but communism has naturally been confirmed as an unreasonable ideology. The important thing is to circulate. This is because the speed of the cycle is the size of the economy. In this respect, the capitalist economic ideology is a basic ideology.
