The disadvantages of the Cold War

This joke was circulating in Israel at a time when Israel was unconditionally winning when it fought a war against a neighboring Middle Eastern country.

In the face of a prolonged economic recession, Israel's cabinet sought a solution to the difficulty.

The Secretary of State for Economic Affairs suggested that Israel send a warship to bomb New York. Then Israel will go to war with the United States. Then, of course, Israel will lose, and the United States will revive the Israeli economy by providing economic aid like the Marshall Plan, the economy minister said.

Then the Secretary of Defense was worried. That's true, but if Israel wins, how are you going to handle the situation?

It's not the nature of this joke, but the economy is important. And the economy is intertwined. During the Cold War, the United States and the Soviet Union used up a lot of national power due to economic and military competition. The Soviet Union eventually collapsed, and the United States suffered many victims through the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

The new Cold War crisis is attributable to the rise of conservative ideas beyond national interests. China and Russia are 'more' conservative. In the difficult environment and the absence of information, conflict gains strength rather than cooperation. This is because the path to conflict is easy and stimulating. As an individual, it is like becoming violent or depressed in the middle-aged period when the mind and body are declining, becoming unstable and leading the situation to a conflict. In addition, the path of conflict is easy and stimulating, so it obtains path dependence. It means that it is increasingly easy to be dragged in.

These days, the attitude of German or French leaders negotiating with China for the national interest (without firming the US side) is not to be viewed as a conflictist view. In other words, it can be said that China is showing an attitude to cooperate with the West.

Even if Russia fails in the war with Ukraine, it is difficult to say that the regime will collapse. I have expressed my opinion a few times in a roundabout way, but it will not be Putin's dogmatic intentions. It is inevitable for North Korea and Russia that there are many people who will accept the bad situation as fate if the conditions are as bad as they are now. Therefore, the situation should always be judged in the long run, and international relations should also have a long-term perspective.

A good leader should be able to persuade the United States, Russia, or China to actively improve the Cold War situation, not to be dragged passively. This is because the U.S. will also want a gradual victory (cooperation).

The fallacy of conservative economics

When the media recently said that Korea's population decline is expected to become serious, some said that due to the nature of Korea, which has a large population density, it is not bad to reduce the country's population to an acceptable and appropriate population. Such an opinion was expressed without recognizing that Korea's economic development was caused by the division of labor system, domestic demand size, and a large number of educated brains. In addition, due to the nature of path dependence, population extinction will accelerate further, and the path to destruction will come faster. For example, as the number of the elderly and the elderly increases, past-oriented politics that embody the political power of the elderly and the elderly begins, and past-oriented politics accelerates further destruction. It can be said that China, Korea, Japan, and Russia have entered the path of attenuated path dependence. The path of a conservative political economy is a path that should not be taken.

I once criticized many economists for attempting to tie economics into quantitative and statistical disciplines, and I think they have induced it to act as a conservative reality by excluding value-based elements of economics. That's what I think as a realistic living person, not an economist.

On one occasion, the current government in Korea came up with a policy to reduce the amount of unemployment benefits and control unemployment benefits because it ran out of employment insurance funds. In reality, the government's policy is a decision not to consider that unemployment benefits in Korea are very useful for short-term contract workers, low-wage workers, and low-level workers in 3D jobs, and serve to attract workers to labor-intensive jobs. When I looked at the workers receiving unemployment benefits, most of them were contract workers suffering from difficult workplaces and low wages. Due to the nature of the conservative economic policy, the economic planners of the current government in Korea regarded the lower-class workers as insignificant and hateful.

When a conservative government is established in Korea, the government is busy encouraging workers to work hard by making past-oriented ideological judgments without thinking of boosting the overall atmosphere of the social economy by pulling out the abilities of field workers. The reason is that there are many religious people, real estate or financial income earners, and ideologicalists behind the conservative government. Such a phenomenon alienates the national economy itself from manufacturing. And as a result, the real estate and financial sectors are enlarged, eventually making the national economy vulnerable to recession and strengthening social stratification, creating a futureless economy. It's an extreme metaphor, but it's easy to understand what will happen if Ponzi schemes or crypto fairs occupy a large area of the economy.

Many of the high-productivity services that are supposed to be replacing manufacturing – such as finance, transport and business services (e,g,.management consulting, engineering, design) = can not exist without the manufacturing sector, because it is their main customer.

This why countries with strong manufacturing industries, like Switzerland and Singapore, also have strong service industries (although the service is not necessarily truce).

At first glance, we think that the development of the real estate and financial sectors is a representation of capitalism, but Switzerland and Singapore. Germany, Japan during the revival period, and the United States during the growth period are all manufacturing powers. Korea will need to quickly bring politics and the economy into a practical atmosphere to grow its future. The current global economic turmoil is due to the invasion of a conservative coalition of ideological, political, economic, military, and religious groups.

https://hyeong-chun.blogspot.com/search?q=%EA%B2%BD%EC%A0%9C%ED%95%99%EC%9E%90

Many of the high-productivity services that are supposed to be replacing manufacturing – such as finance, transport and business services (e,g,.management consulting, engineering, design) = can not exist without the manufacturing sector, because it is their main customer.

War with the Old Man

Heraclitus, a pre-Socrates Greek philosopher, said that everything in the world always changes and that symmetrical things struggle and maintain balance. Nowadays, it seems that older people around the world are overwhelming young people and cannot maintain balance. And the old man doesn't change either. I'm talking about a world that's rapidly becoming conservative.

https://hyeong-chun.blogspot.com/search?q=Russia

The biggest reason for Russia's invasion of Ukraine is the political desire of the old generation to re-experience the glory of the former Soviet Union in Russia. I once wrote that President Putin must also be embraced by the conservative and militant aspirations of the people. This is true of the reality of China, Japan, and Korea.

Older people are past-oriented because they are aware of the limitations of aging and lifespan. The elderly are bound to be irresponsible about the future they won't have to live in. So they are more subject to habit. In the vertical Eastern society, which still does not achieve a complete equal society and gives many vested interests in authority, status, and age, an elderly-centered society is bound to proceed rapidly.

The tendency of the elderly is closely related to the health of the elderly. As I observed while driving a neighborhood bus for a long time, 90 percent of passengers who cause bad events were in their 50s (more broadly, in their late 40s and early 60s). So are most of the people who commit violent crimes in society. There is also that age behind global war or expansionism. Older people and older leaders cooperate with each other.

Perhaps the age group is the generation most shocked by the rapid physical decline. The onset of aging and physical decline rush the mind and hinder the gradual future design. Therefore, there is also a reason to induce the younger generation to enter the political area at a certain rate. The elderly should think of more objectifying themselves and living forever in a healthy body and mind.

In fact, at that age, I was able to properly find such characteristics in the behavior of myself and my acquaintances. As a result, I often think that giving up sensual greed and managing myself well is giving peace to myself and my surroundings. But it's not easy. In particular, the case of Russia's invasion of Ukraine was the first to touch my mind with a generational conflict rather than the point of view of unification or war between countries, which I consider very important. It is regrettable to look at who thought of war and supported it, and who are dying while fighting without knowing why. Moreover, I had a lot of experience of suffering from old gangsters with high academic backgrounds in my youth. Therefore, it seems to have predicted that the conservative psychology of the elderly will bring disaster to the world. However, since we are all going to be elderly, I think we should try to objectify and improve such problems rather than evaluate the good and evil of the elderly generation. The old man is bright and there is no war. Young people are usually bright.

https://hyeong-chun.blogspot.com/search?q=%EB%9F%AC%EC%8B%9C%EC%95%84
