The source of successful political action / sincerity

I gave the people enough rights. Nothing has been taken away and nothing has been added to that honor. I have not deliberately unjustly treated anyone who is respected by having power and property. I stood up with a strong shield for both sides and allowed no unjust victory for either side. I have done these things as promised, harmonizing coercion and justice by the power of the law. I applied justice to everyone without discrimination and wrote the rules equally for the humble and the noble.

- In Aristotle's book, The Athenian System, Solon's speech -

I have been talking about ideological disputes between the two Koreas and South Korea for nearly 20 years. The reason why I have been talking about ideological issues as the top priority of what I want to do for 20 years is that ideological issues have been a priority of what needs to be resolved on the Korean Peninsula. I spoke of this matter with great sincerity. However, it was not as easy to solve for human society as Solon, a wise Greek politician, was troubled by such problems 2,000 years ago. Greece's Athens or modern democracies would have called disputes between community and personal interests an ideological dispute in a more abstract and noble way. Solon tried to settle this dispute 'sincerely'. Solon reformed Athens and developed Athens into a powerful Greek power. Any Korean who graduated from middle school or higher may have heard of the term "reform of solon."

Korea is not doing what Athens did 2,000 years ago. Aside from ideology, I consider former South Korean President Park Chung-hee and former President Roh Moo Hyun as Korea's supreme leaders. Because they were sincere. Sincerity overwhelms ideology. Sincerity becomes a force to reform the national community in a future-oriented way. However, if an untrustworthy person becomes a leader, the national community will face a disaster. Those who are not sincere seek the interests of individuals or internal groups rather than the public interest. Therefore, lazy politicians consider the national community, the people, or the social community or citizens as external beings and set up confrontations. In a democratic society, a leader is also employed by the people, and disloyalty cannot seem good. Such an insincere leader has a far-right or far-left ideological spectrum when logic is poor. It is natural for a lazy person to try to take an easy and comfortable path.

I have criticized religious fantasies as well as ideological fantasies. When fantasy overwhelms reality, it becomes insincere. Anyone who tries to perform a miracle without effort will eventually become the source of disaster. I originally had a neutral attitude. However, whenever a conservative government was established in Korea, I saw unfaithful and bizarre figures involved in state affairs and tried to find a connection. The problem was sincerity. I've seen a great figure in the conservative camp, and a small figure in the progressive camp. In the end, however, a government that falls into ideological or religious fantasies without a sense of duty causes accidents. The current conservative government in Korea should reflect. It's a little dangerous. It's time for insincerity to make an accident and it's making an accident.

Why is it that even religious leaders and adults with fantastic looks are constantly respected. Because there is sincerity.

I know an interesting story about Muhammad.

Muhammad preached that if anyone had faith, they could move the mountain. One day, people asked Muhammad to show evidence of faith in moving mountains. Muhammad led the crowd to the mountains. And ordered the mountain to come here. The mountain pretended not to hear. Muhammad repeatedly drew the maximum of all faiths and ordered the mountain to come near. But the mountain didn't snort. (Let's be honest how the mountain moves) Then Muhammad shouted to the crowd. "If the mountain cannot come to us, we can go to the mountain."And the crowd swarmed into the mountains.

The crowd did not believe in Muhammad's art, but in sincerity and seriousness.

A man's walk is, after all, a series of countless failures. Humans must struggle under these harsh conditions of life. In some cases, humans collapse and are severely humiliated, but they must always rise again with tears and repentance and move forward again. So was Muhammad's life. Muhammad's success is due in the end to his integrity.
