And I respected President Park Chung-hee, who always faithfully expressed his interest in unification. If any of my colleagues think of me as a competitor, I secretly cut him off. The reason is that I could not allocate my insufficient energy to competition. Since then, several presidents' interest in unification has accumulated a lot of future-oriented energy on the Korean Peninsula.

 

A few days ago, I was surprised to see the current president of South Korea's Liberation Day speech criticizing the communist forces in the country. First of all, if there is a real force, it will be an outdated cliche and lethargic so pitiful force. What really worries me is the concern of a head of state who cannot allocate finite mental strength and energy to desperate economies and diplomacy right now. I was worried that the consequences of ideological state management, such as the current government's tax cuts on the rich (supply-oriented economics), impractical and ideological diplomacy, would be like a tsunami in the long run. And I missed the careful contemplation of former President Park Chung-hee and President Roh Moo Hyun. A leader's cautious attitude gives members a sense of security and energy.
