A talented person who had difficulty obtaining a doctorate in engineering in the United States around 1997 worked as a researcher at the Daedeok Research Complex in Korea. However, he learned that Korea's treatment for scientists was very insufficient, so he prepared for the bar exam and passed it after four years. On the one hand, China's wise leaders, such as Deng Xiaoping and Zhou Enlai, planned China's scientific and technological development to escape the ideological collapse. I also read a newspaper article in 1997 that expanded the number of scientific and technological personnel from 3,000 during the Mao era to 30 million. Japan's scientific and technological development, which began during the Meiji Restoration, was undergoing the cutting-edge through the Second World War and Japan's revival.
My determination to become a legal person and become a 'useful' person in the country and society has become awkward. In fact, it was science and technology personnel who succeeded in economic development of the Park Chung-hee administration in Korea. And later, the Chinese leader who liked Mao Zedong changed ideologically. In Japan, hereditary elites from liberal arts became leaders and gradually pushed Japan into the world of ideology. Not to mention Korea. What I myself experienced in the lower part of society made me look at the future of Korea dark. I describe Korea's healthy workplace as the lower class. To that extent, Korea was a society where freedom and equality were not properly implemented like Western society.
The three Eastern countries, which are ideological countries, may be slowly on the path of collapse. Someone may be able to "discover" a lot of reasonable logic, but the gap between rich and poor and social stratification has contributed to the construction of a "unfavorable" society. The real estate problem in the three Eastern countries is due to distorted ideals and hopes. It was much more ideal to have a dream of rising real estate prices than earned income from a healthy workplace. Meanwhile, other sectors stagnated and economic demand was concentrated on real estate. So now, as real estate fell, the future of the country was going to fall.
In Korea and the United States, many legal elites want to become politicians. Since the political process is a legislative process and they can retain their lawyer's license after retirement, they have the advantage of focusing on politics. However, it is also true that they cause a lot of problems with conservative tendencies (even far-right tendencies) and ideological thinking. In particular, ideological thinking is done more than necessary. They can't think that ideological thinking doesn't exist unless they think. The reason is that they have become accustomed to normative value judgment rather than empirical thinking such as scientists and engineers. If this problem is not improved, the future of Korea will be even darker. Of course, it is far more desirable for North Korea to think of becoming a practical science and technology country rather than accepting capitalism.
