Send me back to my hometown. / Chronicle of the central theory

All the girls who picked mulberry leaves more than 50 years ago went to Seoul, forgot about the friendly people and their hometowns, became bus guides, or worked as sewing technicians under Kang, the factory manager of the sewing factory. On the other hand, rural men like bulls who plowed rice fields and farmed silkworms couldn't bear the loneliness and followed the ladies to Seoul. I'm late, so I've been working in Seoul or nearby new cities for a few years, and now I wonder why others are abandoning their hometowns,

If you miss the flow of the road even for a moment, you can hear a provocative clockshawn and people's expressions are dry and irritable. New cities are worse than Seoul. Since all the residents of the new city are so-called strangers who have flowed in from outside, they often have no sense of bond and are hostile to each other. Rather, Seoul is much more rural, where residents have gathered since 50 years ago. I think Korea's new city policy is a big reason for darkening the future of Korea. New cities in Korea do not seem to serve as a central region and do not seem to provide emotional satisfaction.

As the metropolitan subway expanded to provincial cities such as Chuncheon, Cheonan, and Yangpyeong, the commercial district of provincial cities disappeared in the early days, and the classic theory of center seemed to be correct. It was common to see young travelers leaning on the subway to Seoul to buy books, bags, or go to the movies. Even inside provincial cities, the market disappeared and hypermarkets developed. This phenomenon is the 'center theory' that when transportation develops, the center develops and the surrounding area declines. However, now, there is a phenomenon that local cities are incorporated into the metropolitan area for transportation development reasons. It seems that provincial cities can replace new cities.

Now, communication is much more advanced than transportation, and the relationship between the provinces and Seoul is gradually moving online. Products are ordered by courier, and relationships are gradually moving online rather than offline. It's time to go back to my hometown. Still, the reason why my hometown is declining is because the elderly who have not adapted to the digital culture are guarding it. After this generation, the provinces with good transportation are likely to rise again. Perhaps the most declining region is the new city. Despite the failure of new cities such as Tama New Town in Japan, local cities in Japan were not activated because it was difficult to expand transportation due to the geographical characteristics of Japan, which was not digitized or mountainous at the time.

For your information, I don't have any properties worth money in a local city. In other words, I'm writing selfless.
