But the good first impression of narcissism fades over time. Therefore, anyone should filter out these issues by revealing the true characteristics of candidates through long-term evaluations. However, there may also be conditions in which this disability is beneficial. Moderate paranoia, for example, can help a passionate coup leader or revolutionary leader. This means that LFPs may prefer non-filter candidates suffering from disorders such as narcissism and paranoia. These candidates can be obsessed with improving short-term increases at the expense of long-term performance.
