Pro-Japanese and anti-Communist(친일과 반공)

Many conservatives in Korea are very close to Japan and very anti-Communist. It is a product of classism ideas. They hate an equal society. They don’t think an equal society is a democratic one, but a communist one. They have a wrong ideological perspective that has long been imprinted on them while living in the Cold War era.

They think they belong to the upper class because they have a vested interest. So they think they are superior. Of course, they recognize individuals or groups that are superior to them. So they adore the strong. And they persecute the weak. They take such behavior for granted.

  

Look at the people around you. He who flatter the strong is always cold-blooded to the weak. They think of the world as a jungle where the strong eat the weak. They are less civilized. They generally lack reading and cultural ability. According to my experience, when you collide with such people, you may be good treated unexpectedly if you react harshly and react strongly. That's why they becomes pro-Japanese.

In addition, faith-like beliefs focus on only one thing. It is difficult to hold two beliefs in one bowl. The enemy’s enemy is a friendly. For example, if you hate socialist ideas, you will believe in ideas that are opposite to those of socialism. It’s clear that you like it and hate it. The opposite is the same. There is a human nature that tries to take an easy and comfortable path rather than reasoning and thinking the situation. Such a case is like a case of a madman in a religion with no philosophy. When you get older, it happens even more because you are annoyed to think.

한국에서 보수주의자들 중에는 매우 친일하고 매우 반공하는 자가 많다. 그것은 계급주의 사상의 산물이다. 그들은 평등한 세상을 싫어한다. 그들은 평등한 사회는 민주주의 사회라고 생각하지 않고 공산주의 사회라고 생각한다. 그들은 오랫동안 냉전 시대를 살아오면서 각인된 잘못된 이념적 관점을 가지고 있다.

그들은 자신들이 기득권을 가지고 있기 때문에 상층의 계급에 속해 있다고 생각한다. 그래서 그들은 우월하다고 생각한다. 물론 그들은 자신들보다 우월한 사람이나 집단을 인정한다. 그래서 강한 자를 흠모한다. 그리고 약한 자를 핍박한다. 그들은 그런 행태를 당연한 것으로 받아들인다.

주변 지인들을 살펴보라. 강한 자에게 아부하는 자는 반드시 약한 자에게 냉혹하다. 그들은 세상을 갈등관계로 해석한다. 그들은 세상을 약육강식의 정글로 생각한다. 그들은 문명화가 덜 되어 있다. 그들은 대체로 독서와 교양이 부족하다. 내 경험으로는, 그런 사람들과 충돌하는 일이 있으면 모질고 강하게 반응하면 의외로 대접받는 경우가 있다. 그들이 친일하는 경우는 그런 이유다.

게다가 신앙과 같은 믿음은 한 가지만 집중하게 된다. 한 그릇에 두 가지 믿음을 담기 힘들다. 적군의 적은 우군이다. 예를 들면, 자신이 사회주의 사상을 싫어하는데 그 사회주의 사상을 싫어하는 사상이 있다면 그것은 자신의 사상이 된다. 좋고 싫음이 분명해진다. 반대의 경우도 마찬가지인데, 이치를 따지고 상황을 생각하기보다는 쉽고 편한 길을 갈려는 인간의 속성이 작용한다. 그런 경우는 철학이 없는 종교에 미친 사람처럼 몰두하는 경우와 같다. 나이가 들면 생각하기를 귀찮아하기 때문에 더욱 그런 현상이 생긴다.
