Long ago, when cloud systems ( A business in which an IT company stores an information database of an individual or company on its behalf ) were introduced in the IT industry, I worked for an IT company for about three years. Then I did something unrelated to IT. At that time the fundamentals of Korean politics were swayed by ideology or religion compared to China’s scientific growth and the changing level of science and technology in the world. I was very dissatisfied with that.
Before working for an IT company, I read several books related to IT and Google, so it was good to observe the company with the eyes of outsiders. I’ve worked in various industries around that time, so it was good to compare.
The founder of the company I worked for was a self-made man who overcame the difficult environment. He ran the company with the belief that he would make Google in Korea. The company’s programming products dominated the Korean market and spread abroad. Overseas buyers who wanted to purchase the company’s products reviewed and contracted while staying in company dormitories such as hotels. There were nursery schools in the company for employees with children and excellent meals and snacks were provided. The company was not big, but the atmosphere was clean and above all, relaxed.
On the other hand, I once drove a bus in a light industrial city. I could see traces of industrial society in the past from passengers in extraordinary haste there. A middle-aged woman grabbed a bus bumper as she ran to the bus so that she would not miss it, but when the bus started, her face was swept on the road floor as she fell. The bus was a bus that came every 15 minutes, and it was a very sad scene. The traces of human rights, which were not respected during the past economic development, were reflected in the habits of middle-aged Koreans. However, not only the IT industry, but other manufacturing and transportation industries were also important. The fact that the nation’s foundation is strong only when manufacturing is strong has been emphasized by progressive economists who deal with the problem of recession.

These days, shipbuilding orders are high, which is a green light for the Korean economy. However, considering the fact that double-triple subcontracting reduces costs, the reality of lower-class workers working in the shipbuilding industry will be very bad compared to the economic level of more than $30,000 per capital income. I learned various welding techniques to work in the shipbuilding industry, but I felt burdened to know the reality of shipbuilding workers.
There is no future in a society where just workers are not treated. So did Korea and Japan. At the height of the Japanese economy, there was a leader of elementary school education who understood the intense passion of life in Japan. The leader’s name was Danaka. Later, as politicians obsessed with elitism ran the nation, Japan’s national fortunes began to decline.

Passion is not close to mechanical efficiency, but to human efficiency.
Passionate people don’t were their passion on their sleeves; they have it in their hearts. The live it. Passion is more than resume-deep, because its hallmarks-persistence, grit, seriousness, all-encompassing absorption- cannot be gauged from a checklist. Nor is it always synonymous with success. If someone is truly passionate about something, they’ll do it for a long time even if they aren’t at first successful. Failure is often part of the deal.
