The need for social harmony / Hophouse

We are all connected. The state, society, and the world are connections. So conflict and war make things worse unconditionally. This is because conflict and war are struggles to obtain limited resources. So you need to struggle to create resources. We can develop only when the positive goal is greater than the negative goal of oppressing the other.

 

Korea's political moves since the martial law crisis show how foolish the public can be and how selfish they can be. The psychology of the Korean public and Korean politicians was deeply latent, and they were prepared to explode quickly if they pulled the fuse to the stimulus. It is surprising that even though there have been efforts for democracy for a long time, about 20 million people are insensitive to or tolerating martial law. The public did not have the idea of putting out the fire urgently. That is why there was no idea to prevent social collapse no matter what. They were naively instigated by evil people.

 

In Korea, social cohesion was fatally weakened as a result of encouraging individuals to pursue competitive interests under the ideological pretext of freedom or capitalism.

 

Leonard T. Hobhouse (1864 – 1929), a social thinker who laid the foundation for modified capitalism or modified liberalism, refuted the theory of social evolution based on the survival of the fittest that only those who win competition can live, and proposed the theory of social harmony that individual development and social development should be in harmony with each other. Hobhouse says that individual problems are deeply related to structural problems in society.

 

In fact, yes. When self-employed people fall, real estate owners fall. If the public who wants to save Samsung smartphones becomes poor, the conglomerate Samsung shrinks. When Russia goes to war, a cold spell of recession will come to the world. If the United States says it will protect its own companies, companies and people in other countries will suffer. If China says it will dominate the world, the whole world will join forces to defend China. There was a situation in Korea in which the whole people were confused when a politician's spirit went out.

 

Born from the crisis, the government of Korea should aim to become a country for harmony and cooperation, creation and development, world peace and co-prosperity of humanity.

사회적 조화의 필요성 / 홉하우스

우리는 모두 연결 되어있다. 국가와 사회와 세계는 연결체이다. 그래서 분쟁과 전쟁은 무조건 상황을 악화시킨다. 분쟁과 전쟁은 한정된 자원을 얻을려는 몸부림이기 때문이다. 그래서 자원을 창조할려는 몸부림이 필요하다. 우리는 긍정적인 목표가 상대를 압살하려는 부정적인 목표보다 커야 발전할 수 있다.

 

계엄 사태 때부터 전개된 한국의 정치적인 행보는 대중이 얼마나 어리석을 수 있는지를 알려주며 얼마나 이기적일 수 있는지를 알려준다. 한국 대중과 한국 정치인의 심리는 깊이 잠재해 있다가 자극의 도화선을 당기면 금새 폭발할 자세가 되어 있었던 것이다. 민주주의를 위한 노력이 오랫동안 있어 왔음에도 계엄사태에 대해 무감각하거나 용인하는 대중이 이천만명 정도가 된다는 사실은 놀라운 사실이다. 대중들은 급한 불을 꺼야 한다는 생각이 없던 것이다. 그래서 어떤 일이 있어도 사회 붕괴를 막아야 한다는 생각이 없었던 것이다. 그리고 순진하게 악인들에게 선동 당하기도 했다.

 

한국은 자유라는 이념적 명분으로 또는 자본주의란 이념적 명분으로 개인이 경쟁적 이익을 추구하는 것을 조장한 결과 사회 결속력이 치명적으로 약해졌던 것이다.

 

수정자본주의 또는 수정자유주의의 토대를 놓은 사회사상가 홉 하우스(Leonard T . Hobhouse 1864 – 1929)는 경쟁에 이긴 자만이 살 수 있다는 적자생존에 근거한 사회진화론을 반박하고 개인의 발전과 사회의 발전은 서로 조화를 이루어야 한다는 사회조화론을 제시하였다. 홉 하우스는 개인의 문제는 사회의 구조적인 문제와 깊은 연관이 있다는 사실을 말하고 있다.

 

사실 그렇다. 자영업자들이 몰락하면 부동산 소유자들도 몰락한다. 삼성 스마트폰을 살려는 대중이 가난해지면 삼성이라는 대기업도 쪼그라든다. 러시아가 전쟁을 일으키면 전 세계에 불경기의 한파가 찾아 온다. 미국이 자국 기업을 보호하겠다고 하면 다른 나라 기업과 국민들이 고통을 받는다. 중국이 전세계를 지배하겠다고 하면 전세계가 연대하여 중국을 방어한다. 정치인 한 명의 정신이 나가면 전 국민이 혼란을 겪는 사태가 한국에 있었다.

 

위기에서 어렵게 탄생한 한국의 이번 정부는 조화와 협동, 창조와 발전, 세계 평화와 인류 공영을 위하는 국가로 나아가는 것을 목표로 삼아야 한다.
