實事求是(pratical or pragmatism) means exploring truth based on facts.
The main reason why South Korea and North Korea are going on such different paths now is because of the leader's policy of conducting due diligence.
President Park Chung-hee of Korea did not imagine being useless (grotesque). President Park Chung-hee considered Korea's economic development issue in the long run. That may have given rise to the desire for long-term power. So did President Roh Moo Hyun. The reason why Korea's naval power was imagined as the Ocean Navy rather than the Coastal Navy was probably to have considered the future of a small country dependent on trade in advance. In many cases, the real intention of seeking due 實事求是(pratical or pragmatism) was strongly embedded in many policies in Korea.
As the founder, North Korean President Kim Il-sung was a fairly capable person. Despite all kinds of shame as the leader of a small country, he used his diplomatic power after the Korean War to lead North Korea's revival well. Rumors have it that during the war, Chinese army leader Feng Dehua (Pengdeokhoe) and Kim Il-sung exchanged slap and punch with each other due to disagreements. To that extent, President Kim Il-sung was a person who had to endure a sense of humiliation and obligation.
However, the fate of the two Koreas has taken different paths as the leader's useless (grotesque) imagination is imbued.
After his middle age, President Kim Il-sung proposed several grotesque policies. These included 1) building a barrier to the tides of Nampo Port 2) building a Vinalon factory 3) a huge celebration in Pyongyang 4) declaring North Korea's default. Kim Il-sung put a large amount of North Korea's budget into a grotesque policy that any future leader should never consider. As a result, he completely cut off the feedback process from the input of national budget to the output of economic development.
Since then, North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has been running toward the top of Mt. Bukubeak in the desolate Gaemagwon, as his personality itself is not practical and sentimental. Probably, president Kim Jung-un sighed when he came to power. He must have been perplexed by how to revive the North, which has become as useless as Mount Mt.Nampotae in the desolate Gaemagwon. Probably, he felt like a traveler who had to cross the Adeukryeong peak Pass (the North's highest peak over 2,000 meters above sea level) on foot. Moreover, he must have faced the reality of being wary of the possibility of assimilation into the grotesque already established in the North as he nears his long-term rule and middle-aged age.
Korea has a large number of people who miss the Park Chung-hee administration's pragmatic policy. They are very different from the Park Chung-hee administration and support the far-right politicians who sell off the Park Chung-hee administration and live on a grotesque path. It is very grotesque. It makes Korea's future grotesque. In fact, North Korean president Kim Jong-un faced a situation where it was difficult to restore the previously grotesquely learned people and state system. It is a great regret that Korea has also begun to gradually gnaw at future prosperity by grotesque politics.
The future of the Korean Peninsula depends on practical and pioneering policies. The current government of Korea immersed in ideological issues to cut long-term science and technology budgets, promote tax cuts for the rich, and conduct Cold War diplomacy seems very grotesque. A government born from a group within the prosecution that is not practical for the national economy can also seem very grotesque. North Korea should also cut off from Grotesque through technical education and active diplomatic lines, considering future national revival. In recent years, unexpected actions such as the bombing of an inter-Korean liaison office are considered to be very grotesque actions without considering the long-term future.
I live at the bottom of Korea, but I had a great disgust for grotesque. Looking at the sea off Hwajinpo in Korea, I thought that setting up a vocational school in Wonsan, North Korea, would be of great help to the North Korean economy. For that reason, I obtained a lot of technical certifications. And I am trying to study economics and engineering as much as possible. In addition, I defended my body and mind from grotesque while sticking to the sport so that I did not feel grotesque.
The future of the Korean Peninsula depends on the pursuit of due Realistic(實事求是)politics. Realistic politics means conducting scientific, practical, and pioneering politics without having useless ideas and empty imaginations.
