Korea has severe ideological conflicts due to regional, generational and economic difference. That’s natural because the public makes short-term, sensual judgments. It also provides conditions for politicians to use the instigation as a means to seize power.

Zhou Enlai had great qualities as a leader because of his abundant academic knowledge and diplomatic ability. But he faithfully assisted Mao Zedong. Zhou Enlai did not think Mao Zedong was qualified as a good leader. However, Mao Zedong took power by instigating peasants and proletariat. So the peasants and the proletariat continued to admire Mao Zedong. Zhou Enlai and Deng Xiaoping had a progressive tendency to seek change, but would not have had confidence to persuade the ignorant public in a short time. Not yet has Mao Zedong established himself as a proper leader. But they must have felt frustrated at the limits that Mao Zedong’s leadership had to change in other for China to change properly. But anyway, they had to burn their will to reform under conditions given for China.
Mao Zedong would have intended to play the role of emperor. Looking at Mao Zedong’s thoughts and the great trial and error of his reign, it is clear that Mao Zedong wanted to be an emperor. Zhou Enlai and Deng Xiaoping, on the other hand, would have aimed to raise China up. They knew what was important. Winbao and some have flowed heavily into the trap of power. However, the policy ideas and diplomatic ideas of Zhou Enlai and Deng Xiaoping, both pure and practical, were moved and dependable by Mao. Mao was unable to do so because of his large ideological immersion and his classical inclination.
From the feudal point of view of the relationship between the king and his subjects, the relationship between Mao and Zhou would look that way. In terms of China’s reform, Zhou had to become the next leader of China. In a world without Zhou, Deng Xiaoping must have had a hard time leading the conservative Chinese Communist Party, which failed to shed Mao’s shadow.
Although reform is being made due to education and so on, the elders of Korean society have easily sympathized with the charisma of their leaders. Those who wanted to be leaders tried to show charisma somehow. Perhaps China will see this more intensely.
